I hated finishing this three book series because it was captivating. Well written from start to finish, personable characters you either loved or hated, bad things happening to good people while in the pursuit of bringing the the bad guy to justice. This was my kind of book.

Characters were extremely believable and true to form. Conflicting beliefs between twins was a neat twist. Just wish Gio would have found a new life!

This is an amazingly well written trilogy centered on the themes of family, friendship, good and evil, and betrayal on multiple levels. It was next to impossible to put down any of these books. The author's perspective on the war in Iraq was also fascinating and thoughtfully presented.

With skillfully interwoven events from the first two books of this trilogy, IMPENDING FATE brings the reader back into the lives of Tom, Gio and Sep. The psychological and political intrigue, soul searching angst, and a couple of real sucker-punches kept me turning page after page…until the last when I closed it with a gasp - there is no more? Although this book can stand alone - treat yourself to all three - some delicious meal descriptions are an added bonus.

Once more the author presents a book that grips the attention from the first word until the final full stop. And arriving at that point, one still turns the page hoping that there more. Outstanding word command and a brilliantly executed presentation.

A very interesting end to the trilogy. Volume 2 left me in suspense waiting for volume 3, and Impending Fate was not a disappointment. I recommend all three books in the trilogy to anyone who enjoys mysteries.

A suspense filled adventure with a novel, creative twist at the end. I loved all three books. They would make a great movie 🎥 in this day of political intrigue. Bill Messenger is a gifted political novelist as well as a keen presenter of living life in this new world; of seeing life as it really is.
