All Background…No Story

The premise was intriguing, but the story went nowhere. Tedious details about the Bush years and politics, but in the end you were left with the mystery and conundrum began with. No resolutions to the original conflicts whatsoever. Maybe it resolves in book 2 but I will not take a chance.
